TUC’s Creative and Leisure Industries Committee to Host Open Meeting

MU London Regional Organiser Jamie Pullman will be speaking at the event on Monday 27 November, which brings industry professionals together to discuss pay and jobs in the arts and culture sector. Members are invited to attend, either in person or online.

The TUC’s Creative and Leisure Industries Committee will be hosting an open, hybrid event called organising to win on pay and jobs in the arts and culture sector.

It takes place on Monday 27 November, 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm in TUC Congress House, 23-28 Great Russell St, London WC1B 3LW. This will be a hybrid meeting so attendees are welcome in-person or online.

Meeting topics

The meeting will bring people together to discuss some common problems we face in the arts and culture sector, and what unions are doing to address them, including the:

There will be plenty of time for questions/contributions from those attending.

Members Affected by RWCMD Consultation Urged to Contact the MU

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is proposing to cease its weekly creative sessions for young people from the end of this academic year. Members who will be affected by this are urged to contact their local regional office.
